Biometric Data Notice
How face, liveness, and identity-match information is handled.
What we use
During identity verification or a high-assurance sign-in, UnifyID and approved providers may process a live selfie, liveness signals, face geometry or templates, match scores, quality signals, and the resulting decision.
Purpose and permission
We use this data to confirm that a real person is present, compare that person with the account-bound verified identity, prevent impersonation, and investigate fraud. Where required, we ask for explicit consent before capture.
Storage and safeguards
Raw captures are highly sensitive. They are encrypted, access is restricted and logged, and temporary captures are removed as soon as operational, security, contractual, and legal requirements allow. Attestations are designed not to contain the original document or raw biometric image.
Providers and rights
Approved liveness, face-comparison, cloud, and verification providers may process data under contract. Contact privacy@verifynova.com to exercise applicable rights or request human review of a failed automated check.
