Agreement

These Terms govern use of the UnifyID consumer service operated by VerifyNova. By creating or using an account, you agree to these Terms and the notices incorporated by reference.

Your account

• Provide accurate information and use only your own identity evidence.
• Protect your password, passkeys, authentication factors, and recovery methods.
• Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Do not transfer, sell, share, or create an account for another person.

Identity results

UnifyID helps establish and communicate identity assurance; it does not guarantee future conduct, creditworthiness, eligibility, or legal status. An application decides whether a result meets its requirements and must explain its own decision.

Applications and consent

Third-party applications are independent services. You choose whether to authorize requested information. Their terms and privacy notices apply after information is shared. Disconnecting prevents future access through UnifyID but does not automatically erase copies lawfully received earlier.

Availability and changes

We work to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend, or retire functionality for security, legal, provider, or operational reasons and will give reasonable notice where practicable.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, protect users, comply with law, investigate misuse, or address a material breach. You may request account deletion through Data & Privacy, subject to records we must retain.

Liability and governing terms

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Jurisdiction-specific limitations, governing law, dispute processes, and contracting details presented when the service launches in your country will apply.
